A Sustainable Blue Economy in the UAE
Protecting our seas and oceans provides a wealth of opportunities to create green jobs. Working with WWF, we explored how ocean sustainability is weighed in corporate decision-making and identified opportunities on how corporate sustainability can help the marine environments. I along with our Associate Consultant, Dr Florian Eppink, led the research and development of this study. We found out the important role that desalination, shipping, tourism and finance sectors can play to create new economic opportunities and protect the marine environment.
